Delete your account & data

You can delete your Caliana account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how, what gets removed, and what may be retained for legal reasons.
Option 1 — Delete in the app
- Open the Caliana app.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and synced data will be removed within 30 days.
Option 2 — Email request
If you can't access the App, send an email to info@m2mb.co.uk from the email address linked to your account, with the subject "Delete my Caliana account".
We will:
- Acknowledge your request within 7 days.
- Verify your identity (we may ask for proof that you own the account).
- Delete your account and associated data within 30 days of verification.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (diet, allergies, preferences).
- Your synced food logs, chat history, and meal plans.
- Any photos or voice clips that were retained (note: these are typically not retained beyond processing — see the Privacy Policy).
What may be retained
- Anonymous analytics and aggregated usage data that cannot be linked back to you.
- Backend request logs for up to 30 days, after which they are automatically purged.
- Records we are legally required to keep (for example, transaction records for tax or fraud-prevention purposes), retained only for the period required by law.
Local data on your device
Caliana stores some data (settings, draft logs) locally on your device. Uninstalling the App will remove all local data.
